And the Winner is Facebook user: Lisa S!
- ASPCA: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
- Truly Living Well Farm: a local Atlanta farm that reclaims abandoned lots and uses them to grow food, providing food for hundreds.
- Muscular Dystrophy Association of Saint Petersburg: www.facebook.com/mdastpete -part of MDA, a nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy.
- St. Vincent de Paul’s Soup Kitchen – serving quality meals every day of the year, averaging about 700 a day.
I appreciate everyone who took the time to join and spread some love towards non-profits and positive change organizations! I enjoyed hearing about the varied organizations that you were interested in volunteering at! I happened upon a new volunteer opportunity this weekend too and gave my information to a local park for their events. I have been going to this park for years and absolutely love it. They (like so many others) have recently faced many budget cutbacks. Now why didn’t I think of them sooner?
Good luck in the next raffle! I will be opening it up to non-Facebook and non-Twitter users.
