“You need to learn to crawl before you can walk” – Everyone

Was not inspired by the quote I received today “Rest is a weapon. – Jason Bourne”. Now is the time that I need to be moving and making things happen! And yet, when it was time for art, I wasn’t truly in the mood to do it, given all of the other tasks I needed to accomplish. I still put in over an hour watching, learning and attempting, to honor my 30 day goal. Sorry for the crappy image.

You have inspired me. Believe it or not, when I was in college as an art major I was not taught half the “stuff” that is in these tutorials. It is a wonder that I did some figure drawings at all! My art professor had the class pick a famous artist from history to emulate. I did not know what I was doing. I ended up copying the figures exactly like the artist instead of trying to use his style. He would say my figures were stiff. I became discouraged even though I passed my courses. Sadly, I lost interest through the years. Maybe now I will get a sketch pad again (Nick through my easel away a very long time ago), and take up where I left off.
Keep up the good work and let your heart and imagination guide you!

Wow Karen, that does seem like an oversight! I watched a blog that also said that happens frequently though.
I would love to see your art! Try it out!!
Thanks for your kind words!
